Excellent historic property, the guides are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of antiques in several museums and the house itself is set up as it would have been originally. Wonderful experience, I would love to go back.
It was an authentic historical representation of early American immigrants from the Palatine area in Europe. I found it very interesting & informative! Very little has had to be replaced or restored. I felt like I was transported back in time. I will definitely visit again!
This is a great place for history buffs or anyone interested in learning colonial-era living skills. Visit on a day when there's staff demonstrating the various implements, and ask questions. The staff are full of knowledge.
