It was a positive experience considering the very affordable pricing, but once we walked into the theater and the temperature felt like Sub-Zero degrees. It was also not a very welcoming environment as one would wonder why certain seats we're covered with garbage bags. Sadly, we will not attend again anytime soon.
Let's admit it....the best feature of Kendig's is the price.....now on top of that...the digital audio and video make it a first rate experience. The bathrooms have been updated and are kept clean....just 'cause the price is cut rate...the experience is first rate....they just have the old style seats...JOIN THEIR MOVIE CLUB...EACH 10TH MOVIE IS FREE!
I am personally a huge fan of this place! The prices are unbeatable. Their popcorn is really good and they have an area to add your own butter which is great! The staff is typically very friendly, sodas are refillable, and movie quality is really good! Cleanliness is good, could be better but nothing that's going to harm you. Bathrooms have never been a wreck, and the theaters are fairly clean. I would definitely recommend this place. Great to take the family out, or an inexpensive date. Keep it up!
Terrible customer service! My daughter her friends and I had a really bad experience at this place because of Terry "the manager" She was very rude to the kids and I. The kids tried to buy tickets to watch a movie and she told them they couldn't because "the machine was broken" They asked to buy tickets for a different movie and she didn't allow them because they were going to bother other people if they go in. So since they were NOT ALLOWED by this person to buy tickets they stayed sitting on the front benches waiting for their parents to pick them up and she said they couldn't stay there either. Supposedly they don't allow people to sit there either. When I got there to pick up my daughter she said we have to leave. I asked her what happened that they were not allowed and she said the machine was broken and she doesn't have to give me any explanation. I asked for a manager and for my surprise it was her. I told her what a bad experience for the kids the way she treated them and that her customer service was terrible. I asked her name and she didnt wanted to give me her name and she threatened me to call 911 on me because they were closing and she doesn't have to answer my questions and I was never welcome again and she was going to make sure to talk to the owner (which I am wondering who's this person because he should hire people who care about his business)to make sure we were never welcome at this place. She denied them tickets yet, she sold tickets to other people. I was never treated so wrong in my life. I don't think this is a way to make business and it was a horrible experience for the kids to be treated like that by a person that doesn't have the ability to work with people and have 0% customer service. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.
Best price for a movie in Lancaster. It’s not a “perfect” movie theatre but for the price it’s pretty dang good. A great place to bring kids without breaking the bank. Popcorn is great and they even let you put on your own butter. Be like me and bring your own cups for water, brown paper bags for the kids and order the Large combo for a free refill of popcorn, everyone fills up for $8.
